In 2004, as the parents of six children with special needs, Jerry and Alain Goudreault launched AJ Travel The World with Pride after struggling to plan vacations and find destinations that would meet their children’s needs, while respecting them as parents.
At AJ Travel the World with Pride, we understand the importance of finding the right place so that everyone can enjoy themselves while creating memories that will last a lifetime. Whether single, newly-wed and planning a honeymoon, or planning a trip for your family or group, we have the experience and expertise to make your trip special. In 2014, AJ Travel the World with Pride expanded to the USA, allowing Jerry and Alain to spread the message further that Family is Family and everyone deserves to Travel the World with Pride.

After experiencing the frustration of trying to plan vacations for him, Alain and their special needs children, he committed himself to helping others in the same situation, so they wouldn't have to experience what he and Alain went through.
Since then, he has been working hard to continually find and build strong relationships with suppliers who support his and Alain's vision that Family is Family and that everyone deserves to Travel the World with Pride.
Where possible, Jerry and Alain review each destination or resort in person to ensure that they meet their high standards.

I absolutely love to travel. I don't really care where, (although I do have my favorites!) as long as I am traveling! So, what better career than as a travel consultant. And I am excited to be able to help you make your travel dreams come true! No dream is too big or too small.
I fell into travel quite by accident, (thank you Jerry and Alain!) as I also work full-time as a technical writer for the Government of Canada. I have spent the last ten years traveling. While I mainly travel by cruise ship, the prep or post cruise stays in various cities have provided additional enrichment to each vacation.
My favorite area to travel is Europe and the Mediterranean, but I recently broadened my experiences by going to an all-inclusive resort just outside Cancun, Mexico. It was a wonderful trip, but it did not dampen my love for cruising.
I, like many of you, have a bucket list of places I want to experience in my lifetime. Some are attainable, others not so attainable, given the political climate of the world today. I am always on the look out for the best way to experience a destination - whether it be a larger cruise ship, a stay in the particular location, or a much smaller expedition ship.
Whatever your dream is for your vacation, I will work with you to make it wonderful. Please call or email me and we can start planning so that your dream can become a reality!

Travelling and researching destinations affords Jennifer the ability to continue learning about the world and share her passion for travel with anyone who will listen. Her list of places to visit is longer than her list of books to read and the more she learns, the more she wants to visit them all!
Her studies in Tourism and Travel at Algonquin College have prepared her with a breadth of knowledge, resources, and accreditations. This, combined with her attention to detail and persistence, means she can fulfill your travel dreams.
Her passion was so contagious that Eric, her husband, decided to join in on the fun. A long time lover of food, wine, and especially coffee, Eric loves to research where to get the best and most unique culinary experiences.
The two of them document the travels of the crocheted TARDIS (www.travellingTARDIS.com), a travel blog which follows Jen’s handcrafted TARDISes on their travels around the world. (A TARDIS is the time machine from the popular British science fiction TV show Doctor Who.) They also host travel articles relating to their specialities, written by Jen, on their blog (www.JenEric-Designs.ca/Blog/fandom-travel/).

I believe the life is all about “the journey”.
When I think back to my life, I never account for my life without traveling. From just only one day excursion to two months of long trip, and to more than two years of being away from my country, I travelled China, Thailand, Hong Kong, Philippines, Malaysia, France, Italy, Switzerland, and US.
All of the trips helped me open my heart, extended the insight toward the world, and understand the culture of different ethnic background.
I want to help the clients to have the joy from the travelling.

As a youngster, Andy was researching destinations and looking into brochures in hopes of travelling to places within them. He has a long list of places he would like to visit.
He received his first certificate in 1994 from National College in Toronto, and then travelled to Europe. Since that time Andy has continued to travel across Canada and parts of the United States. He obtained his TICO certificate in 2013 and has since studied for his Travel Agency Operations Certificate at Humber College.
Andy’s dream has always been to work as a travel consultant and he looks forward to finding that perfect trip with his clients.

Hi, My name is Dr Neil Dobson. I joined AJ Travel recently, after I took long term disability from the University where I used to work, I needed to keep myself occupied so I took some retraining with The Travel Agent Next Door (TTAND) to become a travel consultant, working from home. I have a neurological disorder called Cerebellar Ataxia III, Alternatively known as Machado Joseph Disease (MJD). The disease causes insoluble plaques (similar to Alzheimer’s disease)to form in one main region of the brain, that of the Cerebellum, effectively causing me to forget to walk as well as plenty of other things. That has left me pretty much confined to my Quantum Edge powerchair these days. My travel speciality is Accessible Travel of all kinds, so if you’re thinking about going on vacation and need some advice don’t hesitate to contact me.
